Start with your heat dissipation requirement (watts) and cabinet dimensions. Calculate required airflow: CFM = (watts × 3.16) ÷ ΔT(°F). Then match to a fan with that airflow rating at your estimated system resistance. Our engineers can assist with full thermal calculations.
Axial fans move air parallel to the shaft — ideal for high airflow, low resistance applications like cabinet ventilation. Centrifugal blowers move air perpendicular to the shaft — suited for high static pressure applications like air purification ducts.
Static pressure is the resistance your fan must overcome to push air through the system. Filters, ducts, and tight enclosures all add resistance. Always select a fan whose static pressure rating exceeds your system's estimated resistance at the required airflow.
Ball bearing fans last longer (50,000+ hours L10), tolerate higher temperatures, and can be mounted in any orientation. Sleeve bearing fans are quieter and lower cost, but require horizontal mounting and have shorter lifespans in hot environments.
Yes — and this is rare for AC fans. Daring's capacitor-run external rotor AC fans support both FG and Rd signal outputs on selected models, enabling predictive maintenance and automatic fault alerting on direct AC mains connection — no DC driver or inverter required.
Standard products carry CE, UL, and RoHS compliance. Selected models are available with additional certifications including REACH and WEEE. Certification documentation is available for download or on request for each product series.
Yes. Our DC brushless series supports PWM speed control (4-wire) on selected models, compatible with most industrial and embedded control systems. Tachometer feedback output (FG signal) is also available for monitoring fan health.
FG (Frequency Generator) outputs a pulse signal proportional to fan speed for real-time RPM monitoring. Rd (Rotor Detection) is a relay output that activates when the fan rotor stops — triggering a maintenance alert or switching to a backup fan. Together they enable full predictive maintenance without a DC power supply.
DC fans: 12V, 24V, 48V. AC fans: 115V / 230V single phase, 380V / 480V three-phase. Custom voltage windings available for OEM orders with sufficient volume.
Unlike shaded-pole motors in low-cost fans, Daring AC fans use capacitor-run external rotor motors. This delivers higher efficiency (better power factor), lower operating temperature, and significantly longer bearing life — ideal for continuous 24/7 industrial duty cycles.
Metal blades are recommended for high-temperature environments (above 60°C), corrosive atmospheres, or exposure to acids, alkalis, or chemicals. Plastic blades are suitable for standard indoor industrial environments.
Yes. We support JST, Molex, bare wire, and custom connector configurations. Wire length, color coding, and labeling can all be specified at the OEM level. MOQ applies for custom wire configurations.
Standard catalog products have low MOQ starting from 100 pcs. Custom OEM (modified housing, wire, label, or connector) typically requires 500–1,000 pcs depending on the modification scope. Contact us to discuss your specific requirements.
Yes. Private label, custom packaging, and branded documentation are all available for qualified distributors and OEM customers. Dedicated account management is included for ongoing OEM programs.
Standard catalog products: 4 weeks ex-works Tainan, Taiwan. Custom OEM orders: lead time on request depending on modification scope. Sample orders for evaluation are prioritized.
Yes. Engineering samples are available for evaluation. Sample lead time: approximately 1 week for standard products. Custom samples subject to complexity — contact us for estimate.
We ship ex-works Tainan (EXW) and can arrange FOB Kaohsiung or Taichung. We work with most major freight forwarders. DHL/FedEx express available for samples and small orders.
